We are seeking a talented and motivated inertial navigation engineer to join our team and make a significant impact on the future of navigation for military EO systems

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop algorithms for inertial navigation systems based on inertial measurements units and computer vision algorithms
  • Analyze and interpret sensor data from gyroscopes, accelerometers, magnetometers, and other sensors
  • Develop and implement sensor fusion algorithms to combine INS data with other navigation sources (GPS, registered video, etc.)
  • Design and implement software modules for INS functionality
  • Participate in hardware design and selection of IMU components
  • Conduct simulations and analyses to evaluate INS performance and accuracy
  • Perform hardware and software testing of INS prototypes
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to integrate INS into systems
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports

 

Requirments:

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inertial navigation system development and vision aided navigation
  • Strong understanding of sensor technology, including gyroscopes, accelerometers, and magnetometers
  • Expertise in Kalman filters
  • Experience with programming in C/C++ under Linux and Windows
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with SLAM, Computer Vision, embedded computers – advantage
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
