Controp USA is a growing company located in Lanham, Maryland, and is currently in the process of expansion.
The Company operates in the US Defense and Homeland Security markets and provides advanced EO/IR observation solutions for airborne and ground applications.
The Company is a subsidiary (100%) owned by Controp LTD, a leading Israeli company providing advanced EO/IR solutions to customers worldwide.
The Head of Business Development & Marketing will report to CONTROP Vice President of International Marketing.

General Scope:
We are looking for a highly motivated and forward-thinking Business Development Leader to support our growth in the DHS and DoD markets.
The BD & Sales manager will manage, develop, and implement strategic plan for Business Development & Marketing in the US markets mention above.
The BD & Sales manager will be in tight collaboration with key functions of management, business unit managers, program managers and marketing to drive commercial efforts on key business initiatives that develop consistent revenue stream for our systems and services portfolio.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
 Developing & maintaining the authorized strategy for the DHS border security market.
 Leading Business collaboration with main OEMs, primes in order to achieve strategic business relevant teaming such as Teaming Agreements, Joined Ventures and M&A.
 Leading and managing the strategic and tactical consultants.
 Responsible for generating new business opportunities related to EO/IR payloads for border security.
 Responsible for generating new business opportunities related to weapon stations and force protection EO/IR systems for DOD.
 Generating and shaping requirements with US DHS and DoD customers applicable to CONTROP technologies and products.
 Manage B2G engagements, and campaigns.
 Managing B2B engagements and campaigns.
 Lead Pre-Sale and Post-Sale activities.

– At least 5- year experience in a similar role in a defense company.
– Required expertise in Electro Optics, border security sensors.
– Preferred – CBP, Military background.
– Willingness to travel within the United States and to other countries worldwide.
– Strong oral and written communications skills.
– Strong interpersonal relationship abilities.
– Self-learner and independent.
