High Resolution Color Observation Payload
- ESP-600C is a sophisticated very high resolution, lightweight, stabilized daylight observation system designed primarily for Scout helicopters, light reconnaissance aircraft, observation balloons and UAVs.
- ESP-600C is a three gimbal system, gyro-stabilized in azimuth and in elevation.
- ESP-600C is protected against wind loads, humidity and dust by rotating dome with a built-in optical window.
- ESP-600C carries two (2) high resolution color CCD cameras:
One with a super wide fixed field of view for target detection and one with a 15x zoom lens for target recognition and identification. Options include: 3-CCD cameras, or extended focal length for longer acquisition ranges.
- ESP-600C is designed and constructed using state-of-the-art components and technologies achieving a very effective cost/performance product.
- If mounted on a helicopter or light aircraft, the payload can be controlled by an on-board CDU (Control and Display Unit) which can be adapted per Customer needs.
- ESP-600C is capable of very long target acquisition ranges for various surveillance applications, as well as very fine detail resolution at closer ranges for police use.
- ESP-600C is integrated with an Automatic Video Tracker and can be supplied with Customer-defined Video Graphics.
- ESP-600C is in operational use in several applications.
