Portable Control & Display Unit
The PCDU is a portable ruggedized control and display unit for operating CONTROP's VIEW and STAMP payloads or any other suitable payload. The PCDU provides a suitable solution for many applications using payloads, including full control of day and night cameras in different operational modes. The PCDU can be fixed on to the vehicle structure to provide the opreator with a hand grip to hold on to while operating the EO/IR system,or alternatively the PCDU can be held by the operator using the two hand grips or attached to the operator's leg while sitting in a vehicle. The operator may exit the vehicle with the PCDU and continue operating the EO/IR system at a distance (limited by the length of the cable).
